Here’s a brief overview of the key changes: 1. Menu Bars in a Separate Menu Item From now on, menu bars can be accessed under their own dedicated menu item, making their management clearer. In the Menu Bars menu, you can create new menu bars or edit existing ones. The Send menu will now exclusively control sending out menu bars, simplifying its usage. 2. Printing Function in the Send Menu As a backup solution in case of any technical issues, you can now print food names and allergens on A4 pages. The printable PDF will include only the dishes currently selected for display. Select a Menu Bar and, if needed, modify the selected dishes. Click on the "Print" link next to the "Send All" button: The selected dishes will then appear on a new browser tab. If you're satisfied with the selected dishes, press CTRL+P or right-click and choose "Print..." to open the print preview: In the print preview, you'll see how the food information will be arranged on paper. If the computer you're using has no printer connected, you can choose "Save as PDF" in the printer options. This allows you to save the document to a file, which can be emailed or transferred via a USB stick and then printed from another machine. 3. Editing Dishes in the Food Selector Editing existing dishes is now quicker than ever. In the Food Selector view, a blue edit icon now appears on the right side of each dish row, expanding to show all dish details for immediate editing: After making modifications, click Save to apply your changes. This functionality is also available in the Send and Menu Bar Editing sections. However, new dishes must still be added through the Foods menu. 4. Updated Language Selector The Language Selector has a new, smarter design. The default appearance has changed in both Send and Menu Bar Editing views: You can now easily rearrange languages by dragging them up or down with your mouse: 5. Display of the Last Sent Menu Bar In the Send view, you can now instantly see which menu bar was last sent manually or scheduled: Sometimes, the entire menu bar isn't sent, but only 1-2 dishes are modified. In this case, after clicking "Send All," you will see the menu bar name along with a "(modified)" label: 6. Sticky "Send All" Banner at the Bottom of the Screen Many of our partners manage over 100 displays. Scrolling up and down repeatedly to send out a complete menu bar after modifications can be very tedious. That's why we've created a sticky "Send All" banner at the bottom of the screen. Now you can send out the complete menu bar from anywhere on the page with just one click. The banner will also always display the name of the menu bar you're about to send, helping to avoid any confusion.
